Pop Shot!

A 4-player arena brawler. Eliminate opponents by knocking them into the spikes!

Lose all your lives, and you'll float around as a skull. BUT! If you hit the planet, you get a life back and respawn because....The World is A Life! (Get it? Eh? Get it?!) 😆

Controls

⬅️➡️⬆️⬇️ - Movement
❎ - Charge up a shot (release to fire)
❎ while a 💀 - float just a teensy bit faster (gotta mash the button)

About Pop Shot!

This was made for the PIGSquad Summer Slow Jams 2018. The technical theme was "minigames", which I feel is met by just using PICO-8 as the engine. The creative theme was "The World Is Alive", which was met, well... because the "the world is a life" in this game.
